What do the plagues and Passover have to do with Easter and Jesus? The children learn how God delivered the Israelites at the Passover and how Communion signifies Jesus as the Passover Lamb who delivers them from sin. A historical reenactment lets the children experience Moses' story from plagues to painting lamb's blood around the doors of their Israelite huts. As children learn that they are heirs of God's promise to the Israelites of a new life with God, they will also understand that they are heirs to God's new promise as shown through Jesus.
