Rotation Grouping

The following charts are suggested ways of grouping children in the model depending on your attendance. It is based on a six-week rotation with children rotating to six different workshops. Variations may be adapted from this guideline.

Sample Rotation Schematic


Sunday 1

Below is a sample 6 week rotation.  It is based on 6 groups of children.  Adapt to your own situation by utilizing the Rotation Charts above.

Note that the Unit Concept and Bible story are central to rotating and learning.  Kids rotate each Sunday to a different workshop while teachers stay in the same place.  On the next page see how groups have rotated.

Sunday 2

Note how kids have rotated on Sunday 2 and the teachers have stayed in the same place.  This rotation continues for the duration of six weeks until all groups have rotated to each workshop.  The teachers have taught different age levels over the six weeks.
